The Barbe was the most common in the Birs, with 3 catches, while the Wiese saw the Alet leading again with 15 catches. Compared to previous years, the Rhine's catches have decreased, the Birs showed a slight increase, and the Wiese remained broadly stable.

Comparing 2023 to previous years, there is a noticeable shift in seasonality, with December emerging as the peak month, unlike previous years where September often saw the highest catches. The species composition has also shifted, with the Alet becoming more dominant in the Rhine, replacing the Zander, which was more prevalent in recent years. The record length of the largest fish at 176 cm is a new high, surpassing the previous record of 160 cm in 2018 and 2021.
