Insight templates are the blueprints for generating insights from your data. The list below can be filtered by period or by a search term in the title or description. Select a template to view its details, and use the link below the description to access all insights that have been generated with that template.
This insight is based on the Open Data dataset “Luftqualität Station Basel-Binningen”. It uses the pollutants ozone (O₃), nitrogen dioxide (NO₂), and particulate matter (PM₁₀) to calculate the Kurzzeit-Belastungs-Index (KBI), following the methodology described here.
The KBI ranges from 1 (good air quality) to 6 (poor air quality). This insight is only generated when the KBI exceeds level 3.
The analysis summarizes the air quality conditions of the previous day, measured at the NBCN monitoring station in Binningen, and compares them with historical trends. The underlying data originates from continuous monitoring since 2020, with hourly values aggregated into daily mean, minimum, and maximum levels.
